The Sales Representative (Immunology) will act as the primary customer contact in Kwazulu-Natal and Bloemfontein, responsible for promoting Aspen/Amgen products, driving sales, and building relationships with key medical professionals such as Rheumatologists, Endocrinologists, Dermatologists, and Gastroenterologists. The role involves implementing marketing strategies, achieving sales targets, providing customer support, managing a product portfolio, and maintaining compliance with company guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage expenses to ensure ROI
• Communicate product benefits and build trust with healthcare professionals
• Achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide marketing feedback
• Maintain relationships with key external experts
• Provide training to pharmacists and healthcare professionals as needed
• Analyze market data to improve sales performance
• Ensure compliance with sales processes and report on activities
• Overnight travel may be required

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Tertiary qualification (Medical/Healthcare qualification is an advantage)
• 3-6 years of proven experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in the hospital/specialist arena
• Experience detailing to specialist doctors is essential
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of the hospital business/industry and pharmaceutical market
